Ad Specifications

Our ad serving platform supports JPG, GIF, Flash and a variety of other rich media file formats. Rich media file formats supported include SWF, HTML, EyeBlaster, Unicast, Eyewonder, Pointroll, Klipmart, and Motif.
Flash Requirements
- Flash should be exported as version 4.0 or higher
- Max file size is 100K
- File must be clicktag compatible per the Adobe / Macromedia Flash standard
- Requires up to 5 business days to review and ensure that the ad is displayed properly and clicks are counted accurately through our ad server
- Audio must be user-initiated
- Three loop max restriction
- Click-through URL must open in a new window
- Your Flash ad must be clicktag compatible to run on our network. The clicktag must be hard-coded into the Flash ad before the ad is compiled into a SWF file. More detailed guidelines are provided by Adobe. The ad must have the following code included in its action for each clickable area of the ad:

Video and Expandable Requirements
- Initial File Size: 30K, 70k per panel
- Audio Initation: User Click
- Expand Initiation: User Click or Roll Over
- Contract Initiation: User Roll Off
- Direction of Expansion 728x90 : Down
- Direction of Expansion 160x600 : Left
- Direction of Expansion 300x250 : Down or Up
- Max Expand Size 728x90: 728x225
- Max Expand Size 160x600: 320x600
- Max Expand Size 300x250: 500x500
- Close Button & Controls: Required, top right
- Animation Length: 15 seconds
- Looping: 3 loops max
- Max Uninitiated Video Length: Up to 30 seconds
- Expandable Hotspot Limitations: 33% of ad
HTML Requirements
- Max file size for the HTML file is 100K
- File format can either be HTML or TXT
- For ad code from another ad server, file must be third party click tracking enabled
- Requires up to 5 business days to review and ensure that the ad is displayed properly and clicks are counted accurately through our ad server
- Audio must be user-initiated
- IFRAME/JavaScript tags are accepted for third-party serving
- Three loop max restriction
- Click-through URL must open in a new window
Please note that any ad that has an expanding frame, including pop-ups and interstitials, are not currently supported.
